Teacher at the Sutherland School caught lying to the Police

As a Governor Councillor Keith Austin really has a problem on his hands with The Sutherland School.

Yesterday, as covered at the story entitled,

Assaulted at School – Don’t go to the Police

The story has now further developed which clearly shows that there are deep seated problems within the Sutherland School.

The police have been informed of the assault that had taken place, the police liaise with the school to be informed of what statements contained.

Unfortunately, Deputy Head Teacher Ms Minnhas has been found to be lying to a Police Constable from Donnington.

The Police Officer concerned, in all honesty was extremely good, level headed, practical and impartial.

Whilst I was talking to the Police Officer on line one he informs myself that the teacher had read out a statement that said

“I was assaulted today and I cannot remember what happened”

As I was talking to the Police Officer, the Deputy Head Teacher Ms Minnhas phones us on line two.

Ms Minhas then admitted that she had mislead the Police Officer, then changed her story and said the Police Officer is lying.

The Police Officer himself is now concerned that his professionalism is in question and could not believe that the teacher not only lied to the Police once, but lied to the Police twice.

The Sutherland School has come under the spot light a lot recently with issues such as Teachers making children sign ABC Contracts with out parental knowledge.

Now we have teachers lying to the Police.

As the Police Officer said to me

“The Teacher is telling them what they want to know in order to prove their own point. At no point was I told that Ms Minnhas was reading an extract from a statement and now she is saying she never said it, the teacher has lied and changed her story twice.

We must be extremely concerned, this is a person in a position of trust who has been caught lying I will have to take this matter up with my Sergeant “

Here we have a school, not performing well because of a few teachers. A deputy Head that has been caught lying and we have a Local Authority that does not know what hell is happening.

You’re the School Governor Keith Austin, just when is this school going to start telling the truth?

Why is anyone really surprised by this? This sutherland school , in any
dealings i have had with them , is rotten from top to bottom. They don't care
about pupil safety , they don't care about parents thoughts and now , they don't
care about the law. How long does this go on before our spineless council
actually decides to do something. Then again how many councillors are governors?
Quite a few. Even though i am sending my youngest to this school from next term
, with a lot of trepadation , it leaves the door open for me to stand as a
parent/govenor , something else this school discourages. I have been on the
recieving end of this schools lies before , so i just hope that criminal charges
will now apply , as this is surely perveting the course of justice.
