Housing Summit Cllr George Ashcroft and Cllr Graham Hossell are working very hard to raise the awareness of regeneration needs for Sutton Hill.
Videos have been made and can be viewed at

The videos are attracting a considerable amount of attention and feedback is being received from former residents as far away as Canada.
As the videos have been accepted and displayed on current, we are working to get them shown on TV to raise the awareness further.
I am sure that if you watch the videos, you will agree that Sutton Hill requires a little more than hedges cutting back and a few daffodil bulbs planting.
Housing Minister Caroline Flint has recently announced her intentions to create a something for something culture. Fair enough, but this does go two ways.
The residents of Sutton Hill have invested in their homes, it is time that the Government do their bit and invest in the estate by way of regeneration and the Housing Minister needs to do her bit before she implements her plans which seems to be a one way street.
The Cabinet Member for regeneration Cllr Eric carter said on Shropshire radio that the £2 million allocated for Sutton Hill is not enough and they will be trying to get the Housing Minister to visit Sutton Hill.
I have been emailing Caroline Flint and her colleague Victoria Wood, who have answered but failed to accept or decline my Invitation, like I said, I will email daily and write to her weekly, my first letter has been forwarded to Caroline Flint along with her own video, this has also been sent to Gordon Brown.
I now formally Call on MP David Wright to come from behind his desk and not only to meet with myself and other interested parties at Sutton Hill, but I also formally call on MP David Wright to arrange a meeting with the Housing Minister Caroline Flint and formally arrange her to visit Sutton Hill.
I also call on MP David Wright to finally arrange the Housing Summit that he promised back in December 2006.
Or are local issues only a priority over national issues when it easy, convenient and presents a photo opportunity.
