There has never been a more important time for the Residents of Telford and Wrekin to be given their voice at full council, planning meetings and Cabinet Meetings.

The Past 18 months has seen a change in administration with Council Leader Andrew Eade having promised us a voice at full council, which to date is a promise he has failed to maintain.

Telford Council Watch has actively campaigned on a wide variety of issues for, with and on behalf of residents throughout the Borough.

Over recent months, we have seen

Proposals for an incinerator in which residents have seen ineffective consultation from SITA.

Assets being sold off during the named “EadeBay Sales” that saw businesses loose their premises.

We have seen The Wrekin Housing Trust sell off Social Housing

We have seen Homelessness Increase

We have seen charges introduced for bulk waste collections

We have seen cost for carers increased

We have seen cost of meals on wheels increased

We have seen the Borough towns Initiative jeopardised

Whilst the administration are busy flogging off assets and placing a financial burden on the poorest in our communities, they voted to give themselves an increase in allowances.

Councillor Andrew Eade, you made a promise, now is time to deliver on that promise.

If you, your family, group, work place and colleagues want to have your voice heard, now is the time to sign the petition, work together to get our voice heard and have a say on what happens in our communities.

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to A Residents
Voice In Telford and Wrekin Council

'Accountability To The Resident by Telford and Wrekin Council'

Telford Council Watch calls upon the Administration of
Telfordand Wrekin Council to deliver upon its pre-election
promises and deliver an open and honest Council.

Telford and Wrekin Council Watch are Petitioning to gain greater
involvement via a Residents Panel allowed to speak at Full
Council, Planning Meetings and Cabinet with regards any
decision that affects the residents of the Borough.

The Council Leader promised to give the residents a Voice and
we now petition for this promise to be delivered.

We, the resident want the administration to work hand in glove
with residents, give residents a greater voice and deliver its
promise via a Residents Panel that can debate and put foward a
      community voice.
