We are happy to announce that we now have direct peering with Comcast today. Our servers now have 10Gbps throughput capacity directly to Comcast`s network. This new connection will provide our customers with even more bandwidth, direct access and better routing to the US's largest cable modem network.
In the next few weeks we intend to upgrade our connectivity from our US Datacenter to Europe by the addition of a 10Gbps link with Telecom Italia. We will keep you notified of any progress on this. We are looking at enhancing our links with both Europe and the United States, peering agreements are being put in place at the moment to allow us to take full advantage of the interconnectedness of the internet. Adding an additional 10gbps will strengthen our network resilience as well as ensuring the speed of our internal network.
The additional links to Telecom Italia will allow us to ensure that we are able to fully utilise the internet in the way it should be, at the speed that you need it to be. |
