From SS letters page 19 June 2010

It seems at the moment selected councillors are being criticised for not living in the ward they represent.

There are several Councillors to whom that applies and there has been would-be councillors which had they been elected would have been in the same position.

Its not where you live it is what you put into the constituency. People in glass houses should not be throwing stones.

My own councillor at Arleston does not live at Arleston but despite not seeing eye to eye on many things one cannot fault her efforts in the community.

Perhaps those throwing the stones should take a long hard look at themselves.

D L Barnett
Arleston

Lets remind this person who it was who started throwing the stones about where a Councillor lives.

Now it has bounced right back at themselves, suddenly its a change of tune.

If anyone needs to take a long hard look at themselves, I strongly suggest that the letter writer stands directly in front of a full length mirror.

I'm not normally a violent person, but having read his endless outpourings of bile I'm rather inclined to throw a few stones at D.L. Barnett - self-righteous, venomous old fool.

Yes, his reputation for being nasty (to put it mildly) has become wide spread.

I can almost hear the fingers tapping on the keyboards and the sounds of flying emails, with some poor sucker on the other end being led down the garden path without the foresight of being able to figure out the nasty games being played.
