Naked man spotted

A naked man was seen walking through a Telford housing estate by a motorist, police said today.

The man was not wearing any clothes when he was seen walking just off Cemetery Road in Dawley Bank.

Claire Carter, who reported the man to police, said: “I was shocked to say the least but even more shocked by the fact he wasn’t in any hurry either.”

Police spokesman Chris Ammonds said they received a call just before 11pm on Tuesday. A search of the area failed to find the man

Yes I kicked him out after a long game of cards and some hard drinking....he lost his shirt at cards but I don't know what happened to the rest of his attire, he must have come across one of the friendly Dawley wenches after leaving my humble abode.

I am disinclined to believe it was Lord Hoop as he has been known to say that he would not be found dead in Dawley.Which state of being ,or non being, leads me to believe that cemetery road might give us a clue.

The witness said that the body was in no great hurry. Therefore it was not of this world.Of course it could have been someone who is enjoying our Indian summer and is seeking a tan. I am sure it was not Dawley Mon.For he is far too respectable .

Thankyou all for your concern - I've explained to the police that it was just a little misunderstanding on my part - an old chum who works in the City had been telling me how much money there is to be made in this "naked short selling" racket and I hadn't quite realised that it isn't something you do door-to-door, especially in Dawley.

I've made a generous donation to the police benevolent fund and they've assured me that they won't be pressing charges....

Very witty Your lordship. Humerous as always. One question. Are you sure they did not press your cheeks instead?

If you don't mind, one would rather put one's school days behind one

VERY WELL M'LORD,I CAN APPRECIATE THAT YOU DO NOT WISH TO REMEMBER THE LOVE THAT DARE NOT SPEAK IT'S NAME.IT WAS CHEEKY OF ME TO RAISE IT.

I NOW REALISE THAT THE NAKED FORM MIGHT HAVE BEEN AN EMPEROR.THE AGE OF THE PERSON WHO SAW HIM WILL BE IMPORTANT.IDEALLY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A YOUNG BOY AS IN THE FAIRY TALE.SPEAKING OF FAIRY TALES DO YOU SUPPOSE THAT THE FELLOW WAS INDEED A FAIRY?
