Has MP Mark Pritchard lost his voice? 4 Months ago Karma: 41
Having had a pleasurable meeting with MP David Wright and discussed the Housing Summit, I find myself somewhat mystified at the lack of comment from the MP of the constituency in which I live.

Living in The Wrekin Constituency, I believe it is quite reasonable to expect a reply to legitimate contact from my own MP.

Everybody knows to whom I refer, MP Mark Pritchard.

Whilst some are of the opinion, that South Telford has the highest priority for regeneration, I am of the opinion, that The Wrekin Constituency also has Social Housing and also deserves equal representation.

When you visit MP Mark Pritchard’s web site, you will see a vast array of information on issues like,

Cuba
Pigs
Ethiopia
Oatar

He has rubbed shoulders with

Arizona Senator John McCain in Washington DC

Sir Bob Geldof in London

Geoff Boycott Veteran Cricketer

The Dalai Lama

Lets give credit where credit is due, he has touched upon one or two local issues

But lets also be honest, he is equally ignoring local issues,

He remained quiet on Telford Town Park, despite being asked to assist saying it’s not in his area.

The ability to have a referendum raised by a resident and the results of that referendum actually meaning something other than a local poll went without any assistance being offered other than suggesting I write to someone else.

The issue of homelessness and Social Housing has gone completely ignored, despite these issues being high on the Governments agenda.

I am now of the opinion, that since the Labour PPC resigned from the race for The Wrekin in December 2007, MP mark Pritchard now considers himself in a one horse race and home and dry.

So, I now ask MP Mark Pritchard, just where do you stand on the issues of

Homelessness and Social Housing as it affects your constituency?

And equally important, why have you ignored the issue?

I have been accused of being hostile to the Conservatives, is it any wonder when residents get ignored by their own MP, especially when you are ignored on such vital issues.

I do have other questions, but do feel MP Mark Pritchard will not answer any of these.

What The Wrekin Constituency needs now, is some real competition for MP Mark Pritchard, someone who has the courage to speak up on real issues rather than grabbing every photo opportunity with a celebrity hit list.
