£££ for Projects

If you have answered yes to both these questions, then £££ for Projects' is for you!
£££ for Projects' is a pot of approximately £150,000 from the Council budget which is being divided equally among the 33 wards in the borough (£4,500 for each ward) and local people can decide what that money is to be spent on.
Get your thinking caps on.
From 5th July to 6th August 2010, you can use this site to tell us what you think we should spend the money on in your local area. Projects will need to benefit your local area, and some of the things you may like to consider include:
* Community Celebrations, e.g. street party
* Music/Arts Festivals
* Community notice boards
* Cleaning up your local area
* Community Garden
* Planting Scheme
* Benches
What ever you can think of - let us know. Please revisit the site from 5th July to make your suggestion.
Please note this is not a grant funding scheme therefore funding will not be provided to groups for ongoing running costs.
