Exclusive: Tory councillors run a brothel at their house

By Nick Owens And Alistair Self, sundaymirror.co.uk 7/09/2008

Family values? That'll be £100 for a romp say husband & wife

To their loyal band of supporters - not to mention the Tory hierarchy - councillors David Bourne and wife Carol are pillars of the community.

As hard-working school governors they paint a perfect picture of the traditional family values David Cameron hopes will carry the Conservatives to victory at the next General Election.

But behind the velvet curtains of their immaculate two-bedroom end-of-terrace home at the end of a cul-de-sac there's something decidedly dodgy going on.

Because for £80 male callers can have sex with Carol, 49. And for £20 more David, 66, assistant chairman of the local Conservatives and governor of a Church of England school, will join in too.

The couple even invite punters to film the hour-long sessions for £150 and take away their own "true blue" video as a souvenir.

The Bournes advertise their "services" in an adult magazine using the same contact number as their political website. Between dealing with grumbles about recycling council tax, they take bookings for group sex.

When our investigator called the number, David was quick to get down to business. He said: "It's £100 an hour for both of us or £80 if you just want the woman. Are you bisexual? If you are, we can do a threesome. Evenings and weekends only." Then, checking his diary, he added: "We are pretty busy right now...but we can squeeze you in."

When our investigator arrived at the house David answered the door. He led him through the hallway, with its bookcase full of encyclopaedias and books on gardening tips, and into the lounge. Then he poured himself a glass of Blossom Hill wine as Carol sat on their floral print sofa watching Coronation Street on TV. "Hasn't the weather been awful," she told our investigator.

David meanwhile flicked through a Reader's Digest and then complained about the economy under Labour. But it wasn't long before the talk turned to sex. He told our investigator: "We have an open relationship. I'm bisexual but if you just wanted to see Carol on her own, I wouldn't mind." Carol added: "You can have anything you want. We wouldn't get embarrassed."

Our investigator said he was unsure he wanted sex and David - a member of his council's Standards Committee - told him: "That is quite normal and natural.

It is with a strange person who you don't know. Some people can accept that and some people can't." Our investigator then made his excuses and left.

When we confronted David with our video evidence last night he hid in his lounge and then said: "I am not talking to you today."

The Bournes' secret double-life will be hugely embarrassing to David Cameron, who wants the Tories to portray a squeaky-clean image across the UK after decades of sleaze.

The couple are councillors in the Wednesfield North ward of Wolverhampton.

Last year David was one of a trio of local councillors unveiled by the Tories to head their Black Country campaign team. At the time senior Tory Francis Maude said: "This is the team to take us on to the General Election.

They demonstrate the vast talent the Conservatives can call upon."

Just don't call on them evenings or weekends because they're tied up

Now steady on Cobbler old chap! When I saw your first post with its reference to "privates enterprise" I was expecting an entertaining yarn about your time fighting the beastly, not to say treacherous, Mau Mau.

You should know by now that I rarely set foot outside the ancestral county of Shropshire - I don't think I've ever visited "Wednesfield" - I visited Dudley once but it was a bit exotic for me.

Born and bred in Shropshire - quite happy to die here (hopefully not in the near future!).

If this is going to be the new way for the Conservative Party can someone tell me if they will be offering discounts for OAP's and disabled customers? Will there be a branch opening in Telford?

I'd like to know what they would name this new venture, some very interseting quango could come from it, i'll suggest the new name as,

"Bonkers"

Should be worth about £1 million from AWM?
