In the past, I have had cause to make a genuine complaint about poor service, got the usual automated reply, but it was never sorted until I chased it up.
On the 30th July, I had cause to send in a Compliment about Oakengates Leisure Centre Staff, got the following reply
Thank you for emailing Telford & Wrekin. We aim to respond to emails as quickly as possible and normally expect to do this within five working days. If we can not give you a full response within that time we will contact you to let you know when you can expect a reply.

Guess what,
I've not heard anything, so have no idea if my compliment was ever passed to people who genuinely deserve it.
You can't complain or even compliment effectively.
