I always had a feeling that this current administration would be no better than the previous Labour one , but this sinks to new depths , numerous homeless in the borough and they are still selling off public assets instead of commissioning building or renovating these sights to put up more social housing , it's a bloody disgrace.

They tell us about all this land that has been sold but for how much and what have they done with the money.
I also thought that Gower Street St Georges had been sold or is it the case that the council has given outline planing on it ?.

The reasons for sale can vary, for example, the Car Park in Donnington being sold is to fill the overspnd of budgets on the new Offices on St.Georges Industrial Estate.

In Short, to cover up for sheer incompetence.

The list of property for sale is not the same as the one in last night's star, it is being sold in a London auction www.allsop.co.uk.
It is a two day sale 15th&17th July they are even selling one with a tenancy.

The list provided is Council Assets, the one at auction could be the WHT, who are exempt from the FOI and the Council has no control over them selling properties.

For those that get a little confused.

he document link in the first post is divided into two

Assets sold

Assets identified for sale

It is worth noting however, that some of the lots identified were withdrawn from the previous sale and again identified as being for disposal.
