The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the avoidance of doubt, the contracting authority confirms that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to participate or in assessing the most economically advantageous tender.

The Council wishes to tender for the supply and delivery of Printed Matter and Related Goods and Services. It is envisaged that the Contract Notice relating to this contract will be posted around 19.7.2010. The contract will commence on 1.1.2011 and will operate for a period of four years with the option of an extension to the supply period of up to a further one year. The contract will be tendered using the Council's eTendering system Delta.

The Council will be holding a Supplier's Workshop on Wednesday 14.7.2010. The purpose of this will be to give a brief background to the contract requirements and to explain the Delta tendering procedure. If you wish to express an interest in bidding for the contract or attending the workshop please e-mail the contact stated at I.1 of this Notice.
