Borough Towns initiative killed off? 1 Month ago Karma: 8
I hear the Borough Towns initiative has been killed off.

Apparently some officers at TWC disliked the Borough towns initiative of Andrew Eade so much that they hatched a plot to kill it off.

And it has been killed off. Council officers are now heard openly talking about "District Centres" again. They are counting the days until New old new Labour are returned and the Supine one (Uncle Keith) is back and it will be worker's playtime again at TWC.

(This is all under the watchful eye of Steve "Skippy" Wellings. - Why Skippy? Because he is like a Wellings Skip. Full of crap.)

Only problem is, the wheels on the plan could yet fall off, as all is not quite what it seems. Plod could start sniffing round, should enough people be interested in dropping the word. (Fraud, conspiracy... oh dear!)

And what hold DOES Wellings have on Andrew Eade? Something from his past in Wellington? Or something newer? Andrew forgets. Old Tories have long memories.
