Visitors can walk in a winter wonderland

Santa Claus is coming to town - and this year he will be bringing two of his real-life reindeer to Wonderland in Telford Town Park.

Visitors will have the chance to experience Christmas like never before.

They will be able to walk beneath falling snow, travel through an ice mountain, meet Mrs Holly and make a special wish in her tasty Christmas pudding, while she helps you write your letter to Santa.

Visitors will also get the chance to meet Dancer and Prancer, two of Santa’s reindeer.

Becky Shaw, from Wonderland, said: “People can watch the elves busy at work while they ride upon Santa’s sleigh and Wonderland’s own winter carousel.

“Why not go skating on Frosty’s outdoor ice rink, enjoy a delicious festive meal in Alice’s Tea Room or buy your last-minute stocking fillers in Geppetto’s Toy Shop, before Santa welcomes you into his beautiful log cabin?

“The Winter Wonderland Village is a truly magical experience which captivates the real spirit of Christmas, leaving you with special Christmas memories to treasure.”

The Winter Wonderland village is open from 10am to 6pm offering reduced entrance and with no booking necessary this weekend and next. It will also be open on December 6, 7, 13, 14 and 20 to 23, when booking will be necessary. For details, call (01952) 591633.
