Most interesting. However expect the council to ignore your evidence on this.Itis concerned only with it's own functionality and is completely indifferent to the truth of any situation. It is only when some traumatic incident takes place that councils are compelled to take drastic action.

The C.R.B. matter in Telford was raised at a council protection session when it was being said that it is not strangers but close relatives who most abuse children. The session leader did not want to know about the ludicrous non policy of the council.

The joining of education and social services has been mentioned with regard to child abuse. This is yet another top heavy excercise covering the fact that there is insufficient field level co-operation taking place. Bigger department, more money for the chiefs, insufficient field staff, lots of meetings. Same old story.
Excuse my french but it will be "Le plus ca change le plus ca la meme chose!"

Iam a lady of considerable experience and have been around a lot.My life is dedicated to Ascot and charity, especially when I come to Telford to do my good works. I am intrigued by this cute little site and will occasionally comment. No more of the cobbler man I notice but the usual regulars are present just like a soap opera.

They do not hold CRB / List 99 info of a school is incedible, just how many others are working in other schools unchecked.

How can the Council talk about child protection when they do not know that the organisation they send vulnerable youngsters to is complying with CRB legislation.

A clear failure of their corporate parenting strategy.
