Some people have already tried the "but what if you're a mile away from the play area" theme.
My answer to them is "what about the vulnerable wildlife and vegetation?"
To be honest, the only decent thing to do if you you haven't got young children is to hand yourself in to the appropriate authorities and make a full confession - you know you'll feel better for it!
Let's face it - what sort of sick individual wants to take a quiet stroll in pleasant surroundings, perhaps in the company of a couple of dogs.
I think the only long term solution is to replace this perverts' paradise with some wholesome concrete, first making sure that all the new residents have been CRB checked and have submitted a full risk assessment....
